EPITALON
EPITALON (also known as Epitalamine) is a short synthetic peptide that activates the enzyme telomerase (1) and stimulates the release of melatonin. EPITALON was first developed in Russia in the 1980s . It delayed age-related changes in the reproductive and immune systems and prolonged the life of the mice and rats studied.
EPITALON, although it is primarily considered an anti-ageing peptide, has also been shown to be helpful in the treatment of certain types of cancer, infectious diseases, and DNA regulation.
EPITALON belongs to the group of compounds known as geroprotectors (anti-ageing agents and diseases of old age), so it is recommended mainly for middle-aged and elderly people. However, this is not its only use. EPITALON is also often used by athletes who see it as a way to better regenerate and delay the natural process of losing muscle mass due to ageing.
